LOOK (2007)

Look, directed by Adam Rifkin, takes a unique approach in getting the message across, "We are never alone". Using video cameras installed in local establishments, and even the local highways and ATM"S, we are constantly being viewed in areas that we think we are alone. The movie breaks down into four or five segments of what seems to be normal everyday, and somehow manages to entwine them by the end of the production.

There were quite a few surprising aspects including a teacher-student relationship, a married man with a gay lover, and two criminals on a killing spree. Unfortunately the movie becomes a bit drawn out, a lot of fluff was thrown in here to make the movie more lengthy, but this footage proved to be uninteresting, and risks losing the audience. The acting was actually quite good. One imparticular was the teacher (Jamie Mcshane) and his 16 year old student (Sherri Van Hafton), they portrayed their parts in very realistic and believable manner.

This isn't a great movie but it is definitely worth a watch. It will educate you on the fact that the average person is viewed roughly 200 times a day, without being aware of it. Privacy of the past is long gone, tomorrow of technology has arrived.
